We laughed with our colleagues, we talked with new friends, we ate delicious food, we heard great music, we enjoyed a special reminiscence presentation —- we celebrated the evening in style. People from all walks of life – veterans, seniors, college students, artists, musicians, professionals, business men & women, and even a few children came out to celebrate with us as we embark on the next leg of our journey of bringing the events of history from the eyes of our veterans and seniors to life.
The Double Nickels’ Board would like to share a heartfelt thanks to A. Scott Bolden, Managing Partner of Reed Smith LLP (Washington DC Office) for hosting the event and MG (Ret) Roger R. Blunt, P.E. (Founder, Chairman, CEO Essex Construction LLC) for serving as the Honorary Chair for this special occasion. We would like to thank all of the Friends of the Double Nickels for the contributions made. We would like to thank all the volunteers who have helped us over the past five years evolve into the organization we are today. We would also like to thank those who took time out of their busy schedules to join us. We are truly grateful for all of your support.
