The residents of the Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH) will be hosting its 2011 Black History Month Celebration on Thursday, February 24th at 1:30pm in the Scott Building Theater. The Double Nickels Theatre Company is a partner in this community outreach effort. Please join us as we celebrate the contributions of African American Soldiers and the Civil War.

The Guest Speaker will be noted historian and the first African American graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Lieutenant Commander Wesley A. Brown (retired). He served in the Korean War and the Vietnam War and served in the U.S. Navy from May 2, 1944 – June 30, 1969.
